TMDE – AVCOM ANALOG SPECTRAL ANALYZERS.
Recommended for TSCM (countermeasures) teams to have lightweight, battery-powered, low-frequency ones – up to 3 GHz. Spectral analyzers as a second main device.
This spare device provides a kind of replacement for the microwave spectrum analyzer in case of rapid deployment in the field (or in case of transportation by plane).
We also recommend having such lightweight systems that can easily be used in telephone cabinets, attics, air ducts, cramped spaces, elevator shafts, etc.
The AVCOM PSA-65C (with mixers) forms a highly recommended (and widely used) good lightweight backup system. A properly configured AVCOM PSA-65C system provides frequency coverage from 100 kHz to 4.2 GHz.
You can also use the AVCOM SDM-42 SDU (Intermediate Frequency Panoramic Adaptor) with any search receiver or TSCM kit as a 10.7 MHz IF display. With a print width of 8.25 to 11 inches, the SDM-42 fits easily into most equipment cases and rack-mounted systems.
The AVCOM PSR-3000 video surveillance receiver (in conjunction with the SDM-42 SDU) makes locating hidden microwave video transmitters very easy.
