April 2009 was a turning point for the MES-T2 2007 System developed by InformSystems from global modernization to intensive implementation of the PTO Complex at power plants: state district power plants, combined heat and power plants, combined cycle gas turbines, hydroelectric power plants, and nuclear power plants. The first power plant is Tyumenskaya TPP-1, a branch of TGK-10 OJSC.
The MES-T2 2007 system, as an instrumental customizable software for calculating the TEP of a power plant, began to emerge back in 1991. In 2002, after the reorganization of the InformSystem Company, the development of the System acquired an innovative character from the Technological Office Complex to the most modern MES-T2 2007 System.
At one time, this software package was purchased by more than 50 power plants, and InformSystem Company adapted ten of them within one month, but there was no full-scale implementation of the System «turnkey» at any power plant. This happened mainly because of our misconception. We assumed that by providing power plants with a customizable tool, they would be able to implement TEP (Technical and Economic Indicators) calculations themselves. In the end, they either could not or did not want to, and preferred either Excel or «head-on» developments, i.e. without settings. Naturally, we were not satisfied with this fact, since our image was spoiled, and we began a global modernization of the software package at an innovative level. This is how the «MES-T2 2007» System appeared.
Currently, there are two options for implementing the PTO Complex of a power plant on the MES-T2 2007 System:
— Implementation of all tasks of the Production and Technical Department (PTO) by InformSystem Company within 8 months for the File-Server configuration or 11 months for the Client-Server configuration with 4 stages: 1) Delivery and inspection; 2) Adaptation and commissioning for trial operation; 3) Implementation and commissioning for pilot industrial operation; 4) Commissioning of the System «turnkey». A long implementation period is necessary for the assimilation of all the capabilities of the System by the PTO technologists of the power plant and for them to overcome the psychological barrier.
— Implementation of the necessary tasks of the PTO by the power plant itself with 2 stages: 1) Delivery and basic adaptation; 2) Monthly training in Yekaterinburg with the issuance of a Certificate. Such implementation is 4-6 times cheaper for the power plant, but the duration of implementation will actually be 4-6 times longer compared to implementation by InformSystems. This is due to many factors. It is known that in Russia there are not even two identical power plants in terms of equipment and technology. Naturally, it is easy for the program developer to see the need for some kind of modernization to better achieve the goal, and the user is forced to make do with what is available. And also experience…
The main achievements and advantages of the MES-T2 2007 System are: Text description of PROJECTS of technological tasks, automatic configuration of the entire System from text PROJECTS and organization of calculations of the TEP on DLL programs, which are also created automatically.
PROJECTS OF TECHNOLOGICAL TASK. Imagine that you are compiling a technical task (TOR) for programming the calculation of the TEP of the power plant equipment. You need to specify: the indicator designation, name, unit of measurement and calculation formula for each unit of equipment (boiler, turbine). This is the PROJECT, taking into account that this TOR is compiled on the «Project Constructor» tool. And there is no programming at all!!!
AUTOMATIC SYSTEM SETUP. Automatic setup is performed by the executive module «Workstation Designer», which is also used during operation of the adapted System. Automatic setup is performed according to the technical specifications (PROJECT), as a result of which the following are created: information databases, reference books, screen and calculation tables, reports, Workstation Explorer, task menu and DLL calculation programs. That is, during automatic setup and compilation of PROJECTS, the contents of these PROJECTS are transformed into components of a functional and reliable MES System.
DLL PROGRAMS FOR TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY CALCULATIONS. A DLL program is equivalent to a program written «head-on», but obtained automatically with code optimization. This allows for maximum calculation speed, especially for general daily and monthly calculations, which is necessary for dynamic optimization tasks on a real power plant model using the minimax strategy and for resource optimization. |
