Texecom.

The history of the English company Texecom can serve as a clear example of hard work and continuous improvement. Having started with a small production, the company has today become one of the world's leading manufacturers of a wide range of equipment for security and fire alarm systems.
Texecom was founded in 1986. The first product was the Pulscan passive infrared detector. In 1989, the Medusa IR detector was added to it, and in 1993, the Reflex IR detector.

1994 – The production of control devices began. The first model was the Veritas 8, a device with a built-in keyboard, which is still being produced.
1996 – The Mirage DT IR detector was launched into production, marking the beginning of new series of detectors, which Texecom continues to produce to this day, constantly improving their characteristics.
In 1998, Texecom, concerned about the high quality of the «last mile» in security systems, began producing Odyssey outdoor sirens. These sirens, combined with strobe flashes, thanks to the features embedded in their design, became a benchmark for what quality an alarm signaling device should be.
1999 was marked by the appearance of one of the most successful developments of Texecom – control devices Premier International. In 2000, the production of devices in accordance with the English requirements for security systems – the Premier series – was launched. Both series are distinguished by flexibility, the widest choice of programmable options, including unique and at the same time popular ones, an intuitive keyboard interface and ease of programming. Today, these devices are completely Russified for sales in Russia.
2002 – Texecom made another serious step in the field of continuous improvement – the production of Prestige series detectors was launched, combining advanced detection and analysis technologies with a bright, memorable design.
2004 – together with Apollo Fire, the production of Exodus series fire detectors was launched.
In 2005, Texecom joined the Halma Group, which unites companies that are somehow connected with people's life support and care for their property. For example, those that produce medical equipment or fire alarms, such as the well-known Apollo Fire.
2006 – the Prestige line of alarms was expanded to include models with anti-masking.
2008 – the production of outdoor alarms began. The first was the Prestige External TD, designed to protect cottages, approaches to houses, and garages.
2009 – Prestige Orbit QD and DT outdoor detectors, designed for use in professional perimeter security systems. The first of these is a passive infrared detector with a quadruple pyroelement, the second is a combined IR + microwave detector.
These are the main milestones in the history of Texecom. The company today produces a wide range of detectors, control devices, outdoor sirens, communicators and accessories. The logical result was not only wide recognition, but also many awards. For example, on June 9, 2009, Texecom was awarded the title of «Best Manufacturer of Intrusion Detection Devices» by the leading industry publication PSI Magazine.
The company is a member of BSIA – the British Security Industry Association. The head office, research center and production are located in England. The latter circumstance is especially interesting in light of the tendency of many well-known manufacturers to transfer production to “third” countries. At the same time, due to maintaining production in England, Texecom managed to avoid uncompetitive prices.

The range of manufactured products is wide. Here is just a part of it.
Prestige IR detectors — they use both Fresnel lenses and mirrors. Microprocessor signal processing and digital temperature compensation are used. Some models use some of the most modern decision-making algorithms — fuzzy logic, as well as an anti-masking system and protection from animals weighing up to 40 kg. The detectors are distinguished by increased noise immunity and a wide range of operating temperatures — up to -35 ° C. And it is especially worth noting the factory warranty period — 10 years.
Impaq series detectors – acoustic glass break and vibration. Impaq GlassBreak is capable of detecting glass breakage within a radius of up to 7 m, made using various technologies (regular, tempered, laminated, etc.). Impaq vibration detectors can be used to protect both walls made of various materials and window frames.
Premier International and Premier series control devices are distinguished by flexibility, the widest choice of programmable options, full Russification, intuitive keyboard interface and ease of programming. The main features of Premier International and Premier series devices in addition to those mentioned:
certified in Russia (certificates of conformity and fire safety);
number of zones – from 4 to 640;
Number of independent areas – from 2 to 64;
Number of users – from 32 to 500;
Event documentation – up to 5000 records with date and time;
Wide choice of keyboards, extenders and additional devices;
Integrated access control;
Multi-protocol communicator.

Odyssey series of outdoor sirens.
Sirens combined with strobe flashes;
Full protection from environmental influences;
Shockproof housings;
Up to 3 anti-sabotage contacts: detachment from the wall, opening of the front cover, control of the mounting screw;
5 years warranty.
One very important feature that distinguishes Texecom for the better among many manufacturers cannot be ignored. This is the ability to combine advanced developments and reliability, modern technologies and affordable cost.
Texecom operates according to its motto «Made to work perfectly».
