Scope
This standard establishes uniform functional requirements for the protection of computer equipment (CEE) from unauthorized access (UA) to information; to the composition of the documentation for these means, as well as the nomenclature of the indicators of the security of the computer equipment, described by the set of requirements for protection and determining the classification of the computer equipment by the level of protection from unauthorized access to information.
In this standard, the computer equipment is understood as a set of software and technical elements of data processing systems capable of functioning independently or as part of other systems.
The use of cryptographic information protection tools in the computer equipment set can be used to increase the guarantees of the quality of protection.
The requirements of this standard are mandatory.
