Most RVi video recorders are very functional devices. However, in some cases, not all capabilities are actually used, and the recording device is used only for its intended purpose. For such installations, we offer a new inexpensive four-channel video recorder RVi-R04SA.
This model can operate in duplex mode, which allows simultaneous recording and playback of the archive, and simultaneous access to the recorder's functions via the menu. The MJPEG frame-by-frame compression algorithm is used for video compression. The RVi-R04SA video recorder provides a total recording speed of 50 fps, which can be arbitrarily distributed across all channels. The recording resolution is fixed and is 640×272 pixels for each video channel. Video recording can be performed both manually and according to a schedule, including by a motion detector. A SATA hard drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB is used for recording. Thanks to the presence of an audio channel, the video recorder can record and transmit sound synchronized with the video image from the selected video camera. The image from the video cameras, as well as the archive playback, can be output both via a composite video output and via VGA and simultaneously. Data archiving can be performed on any external USB drive for subsequent viewing on a PC. The menu for setting up and controlling the video recorder has a convenient and simple Russian-language interface, and the ability to control the settings using an IR remote control makes it simple and convenient to use.
