«On the Entry into Force of the Law of the Russian Federation «On Security»
The Supreme Council of the Russian Federation resolves:
To enact the Law of the Russian Federation «On Security» from the moment of its publication.
Recommend to the President of the Russian Federation:
develop and within one month submit to the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation a draft Decree on the formation of the Security Council of the Russian Federation;
consider the issue of establishing the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the State Committee of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the State Border and the Maritime Economic Zone of the Russian Federation;
submit to the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation a report on ensuring the security of the Russian Federation by July 1, 1992.
The relevant standing committees of the chambers and committees of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, together with the Government of the Russian Federation, shall, within three months, prepare for submission to the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation draft laws on environmental safety, on the state border of the Russian Federation, on the social protection of military personnel, on defense, on civil service, on the fight against corruption, on the fight against organized crime, on foreign intelligence of the Russian Federation, on the continental shelf, on the maritime economic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as a draft Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
To instruct the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation to ensure the creation of a department of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation for the protection of its facilities and officials.
