Initial data: The area of ​​the main hall is more than 230 sq.m. plus a stage of 20 sq.m.
Main task: Comprehensive equipping of the hall with audio, video, lighting equipment for receiving VIP visitors, as well as holding special events with live music.
Implementation period: The allotted time for the project implementation is 25 days (from December 21, 2007 to January 17, 2008).

Brief description of the project:
The restaurant is thematically divided into several zones: the foyer, the reception desk at the entrance to the restaurant, in the back of the restaurant there is a VIP zone, the main hall with comfortable tables and sofas, a stage.

The stage is designed to show videos from different sources (Blu-ray, NTV+ HD, multimedia server), a karaoke server, and for live musicians. The stage is equipped with everything necessary for musical events: a digital mixer, Beyer Dynamic wireless microphones, professional RGB stage lighting from Genius, and professional sound from GAE (speaker systems) and Kind (amplifiers) with a total power of 5 kW. The stage has a Panasonic Full HD plasma panel with a diagonal of 103 inches (260 cm), a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 5000:1, and 4096 color gradations. The picture quality, coupled with a professionally equipped acoustic system and lighting effects, is simply amazing and allows for high-level entertainment events of any complexity.

A background sound system is installed in the main hall. In addition to those listed above, a personal computer located at the reception desk is also used as a sound source.

The VIP zone is also a separate sound zone, in which acoustic systems from the German company GAE are installed. This zone has a 50-inch LCD panel SONY. The signal can be duplicated from the plasma on the stage if desired. The wireless touch control AMX allows visitors to independently control the karaoke server: select the desired song, adjust the volume level of the microphone, soundtrack, zone acoustic system, turn on the panel, etc.

The reception desk is the main workplace of the hall administrator. Using the wireless control panel with a diagonal of 8.5 inches from AMX and the intuitive user interface from IBERI, the administrator can effortlessly control and manage the entire multimedia complex in the restaurant. Without leaving the main workplace (if necessary, the panel can be easily moved to any place inside the room), the administrator can instantly prepare the restaurant for receiving dear guests.

The system allows you to control the following functional blocks:
1) sound system:
volume of sources, individual zones, all acoustic systems together, microphones;
echo of microphones;
switching sound sources: Blu-ray, NTV+ HD, karaoke server, multimedia server, personal computer.
Since the total number of zones and sound sources is large enough, the ability to create sound scenes that save the current settings of the entire sound system was implemented. If necessary, they can also be quickly activated.
2) video system:
plasma panel settings, on/off;
switching video sources: Blu-ray, NTV+ HD, karaoke server, multimedia server, laptop.
3) direct control of the components of the multimedia complex: Blu-ray player, NTV+ HD, karaoke server, multimedia server.
4) stage lighting.

Here it is necessary to note the following: a professional stage lighting system can be meticulously adjusted and controlled from a personal computer using the Sunlite hardware and software complex. A lighting designer can do detailed adjustment and preparation of the light, creating so-called light scenes saved in the Sunlite system. After the artist has created the scenes, the administrator can instantly, without thinking, call up preset and carefully adjusted light scenes with literally one click.

In addition to stage lighting, the restaurant also has technical and decorative lighting — chandeliers, floor lamps, spotlights, illuminated mirrors.

The lighting level in the entire room is controlled directly from the AMX control panel. It is possible to save the current states of light groups, creating light scenes that can also be easily recalled.

At the end of the work, the administrator can turn off all the equipment with one click of a button, and the light in the absence of activity turns off automatically in the entire hall after one minute. The foyer is equipped with ceiling speakers APart, duplicating the acoustic systems in the main hall, allowing you to listen to what is happening in the hall. If necessary, they can be turned off from the control panel or from the foyer using the wall volume control.

Project feature:
Integrated equipment of the restaurant with multimedia, lighting and control complex allowed the administration in a matter of minutes with the actions of one person to create the necessary atmosphere in the hall suitable for a specific event, be it an ordinary weekday or receiving a high-ranking guest.

Prospects for further development of the project:
Due to the modular design of the system, other sources of audio and video signals, as well as any other engineering systems, can be easily added to this system: air conditioning, ventilation, heating, security system, fire alarm, etc.

Results:
The restaurant was ready to receive guests in the maximum possible time frame — 25 days.
In addition to delicious food and a pleasant warm atmosphere, visitors are offered to watch movies, TV shows and karaoke in the highest quality, and during events: a bright show with live music.
The video system allows gourmets to enjoy the unforgettable quality of Blu-ray video on a 103-inch plasma panel.
The sound system can satisfy even the most demanding listener, both in terms of sound quality and its volume level.
The complex multimedia system is easily controlled by one user.
