Pelco Sarix ID10: megapixel resolution, H.264 support, compact body.
The Pelco ID10 Series network cameras are based on Sarix technology for indoor video surveillance. The series includes color dome (ID10C) and day/night (ID10DN) models with 1.3-megapixel resolution and light sensitivity up to 0.12 lux. They are available with or without a 2.8-8 mm varifocal lens. Both IP cameras are equipped with a 1/3″ CMOS sensor with progressive scan, WDR and are capable of transmitting up to 2 video streams in H.264 and/or M-JPEG at up to 30 fps over an IP network. The Pelco ID10 can be powered by 24 VAC or PoE, have an alarm input/output and record video to MicroSD cards. In addition, the cameras support autofocus (ABF) and remote configuration via a web browser, Pelco Endura or Milestone XProtect software, etc.
The ID10 Series 1.3MP Day/Night IP Cameras feature Pelco's proprietary Sarix™ technology, which delivers increased camera sensitivity in both standard artificial lighting and low-light conditions, as well as noticeable improvements in color reproduction and increased video frame rates.
Ability to adjust image quality to lighting conditions
The 1.3-megapixel ID Series cameras use a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and feature a wide dynamic range of 60 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 50 dB. To improve the quality of video transmitted over an IP network in variable lighting conditions at the site, the Pelco ID10 features a high-speed electronic shutter, as well as automatic white balance (AWB) and backlight compensation.
Selectable resolution/frame rate to optimize IP video system resources
Both the color and day/night Pelco cameras in this series support two video compression standards – economical H.264 and high-quality M-JPEG, various frame resolutions from 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) to 320 x 176 pixels and aspect ratios – 4:3, 5:4 and 16:9. At the same time, both IP cameras provide a frame rate of up to 30 fps and allow the video surveillance system operator to configure video stream parameters for optimal use of resources and increased efficiency of the video system as a whole.
Dual-stream video broadcasting over IP channels with any bandwidth
The ID10 megapixel cameras are capable of transmitting up to 2 video streams simultaneously over the network in both H.264 and Motion JPEG. Regardless of the compression algorithm, video streams can be configured with different resolutions, frame rates, bit rates and GOP (Group of Pictures) structures to ensure the most efficient traffic.
Automatic back focus adjustment
Pelco Sarix ID10 is designed for IP security video surveillance systems of various objects and transmission of consistently clear, highly detailed video images to security monitors and/or data recording/storage devices. These cameras are easy to install and simple to configure, both directly on-site and remotely from a network PC. To simplify focusing the camera, the Auto Back Focus (ABF) function is provided: when you press a separate button on the Pelco ID10 body, the back focus is adjusted automatically.
Support for most network protocols
For stable, efficient and secure operation on an IP network, these Pelco cameras support various network protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP/IP, RTP, IGMP, DNS, RTSP, NTP, SNMP, HTTP, LDAP (client). In addition, the IP camera's web interface allows remote monitoring via a web browser in multi-screen mode of up to 16 cameras simultaneously within a single VLAN.
Software Compatibility
The open architecture of the Sarix ID10 internal software allows them to be integrated into IP video surveillance systems running Pelco or other manufacturers' software. Thus, IP cameras are fully compatible with the full-featured Pelco Endura system and Digital Sentry software, which provide users with remote camera configuration and video management, live video monitoring, video archive recording and playback. In addition, ID10 IP cameras can be integrated into other applications, such as intelligent video analysis systems, face recognition, access control and management systems, etc.
Data storage on Micro SD cards and alarm response
Each camera in this series can be used as part of a security video surveillance system. ID10C/ID10DN have an alarm input for connecting a security sensor, as well as a relay output for controlling the operation of an external actuator. In addition, both models are equipped with a slot for removable Micro SD memory cards, onto which the cameras can record alarm frames for their temporary storage and to prevent losses in the event of a short-term interruption of communication with the FTP server.
