Multifunctional OPS Satel for office buildings, shops, cottages and apartments.
The Satel security and fire alarm system not only guarantees a high level of protection of the facility from fire or burglary, but also provides a full range of functionality for access control, and provides extensive automatic control capabilities for a number of devices. The Satel line includes a wide range of products, from which you can easily create an alarm system for your facility — be it an apartment or a large office building. When developing devices, flexible solutions are used that allow you to effectively use the capabilities of the devices, including them not only in alarm systems, but also in access control and home management systems.
Control panels
Using control panels (CP) from Satel, you can create an OPS system for a facility of almost any class and scale: from an apartment to a large office building.
The CA-4V1/CA-4MX (4 zones), CA-5 (5 zones), CA-6 (6 zones, with a keypad — up to 8 zones) and CA-8MX (8 zones) control panels are ideal for apartments and private cottages. All these devices have a small number of zones without the ability to expand inputs and outputs, as well as ease of maintenance. The CA-4MX and CA-8MX are the simplest control panels that are controlled using a key and lock. The CA-4V1 supports connection of an LED keypad, from which you can program and control the system. The CA-5 and CA-6 devices are characterized by advanced functionality and flexibility in programming, the presence of programmable outputs, an autodialing system, the ability to locally (from a keyboard or a PC connected via RS-232) or remotely (via a modem) program. They are equipped with an internal modem, a telephone communicator and an RS-232 port.
In addition, these control panels can be controlled using the DLOAD10 program.
The SA-10 control panel was developed specifically for equipping medium-sized facilities. Unlike the models described above, it supports the connection of expansion modules and, in addition, can interact with the ABAX wireless system via a bus.
The SA-64 control panel was developed for the protection of large and medium-sized facilities (for example, offices and shopping centers), which has a full range of functional capabilities for managing fire alarm systems, access control systems, and automation. This device supports the connection of up to 64 zones and up to 64 keyboards for monitoring and managing the system. Based on the SA-64, it is possible to organize 8 independent security systems at various facilities and carry out remote control and monitoring of equipment via a computer. The SA-64 device served as a prototype for the Integra system, which has expanded the capabilities of interaction with the ABAX wireless system, and also includes support for monitoring via an Ethernet network and programming via Ethernet using the DLOADX/DLOAD64 software. The Integra line includes 4 models of PDAs for monitoring 24, 32, 64, and 128 zones. Integra control panels have from 4 to 128 programmable outputs and are configured via external keyboards, a computer or a cell phone.
An important advantage of the Integra system is the ability to connect to an Ethernet network for remote monitoring of the fire alarm system of several cottages or stores. This function is supported by the ETHM-1 module built into the Integra control panel with RS-232 and RS-485 ports for connecting the device to a computer.
Programming and servicing the control panel: DLOADX and GUARDX software
Integra control panels are configured using the DLOADX program (version for CA-10 and CA-64 – DLOAD10 and DLOAD64), which operates in the Windows 98/ME/2000/XP environment. For this purpose, DLOADX is installed on a PC connected to the Integra panel via the RS-232 port, LAN/WAN network, via a telephone line and modem, or via a GSM alarm communication module. This software allows you to visualize the current state of the fire alarm system on the computer monitor, and also displays a virtual keyboard on the screen for controlling the control device and provides reading of the event log from the Integra memory.
The GUARDX software is used to service the control panel, which displays current information about alarm events in the system, provides access to the control panel memory and outputs alarm signals to the computer in graphic form with sound support. This software also allows the administrator to fully manage the equipment, create and edit a list of system users and assign them permissions. The control panel is connected to the computer via the RS-232 port (on the external LCD keyboard), and when the G64-server Intrgra program is launched, it can be controlled remotely over a network with the TCP/IP protocol.
Controlling the control panel using keyboards with an LCD display
The Satel line includes a wide range of control and monitoring keypads, which provide additional convenience when operating the fire alarm system. Keypads for the Integra control panel are also available, equipped with proximity card readers. To facilitate control, management and viewing of the event memory of the control panel, text information in the form of user names, descriptions of groups, zones and outputs can be displayed on the keypad display. Group LED keypads are used to control one group in an office security alarm system. They can act as code locks; in this case, users are allowed to control only those groups of loops to which they have access, as defined by the fire alarm administrator when programming the control panel.
Access control using DALLAS card and key readers
INTEGRA control panels can work with contactless card readers and DALLAS keys. The readers perform functions similar to those of a group keypad, and the control panel monitors and records their use. In addition, using a DALLAS card/key through the Integra device, you can perform the following actions:
Control electromagnetic door locks, lighting, air conditioners, pumps, etc.;
Turn on standby mode in a group;
Turn off standby mode and reset alarms.
Transmission of alarm notifications via telephone line
Satel control panels can transmit alarm notifications in the form of voice messages to telephone numbers. The recipient number for each type of alarm (intrusion alarm, fire alarm, attack alarm, technical alarm, additional alarm) is set by the administrator when programming the control panel, and the recipient can confirm receipt of the message by dialing a special code on the telephone keypad in tone mode. If there is no confirmation of receipt of the message, the control panel can repeat the notification cycle a programmed number of times. In addition, the Integra system provides the ability to answer a call and transmit information about the system status, and also allows you to configure the security system control functions via the control panel by phone.
ABAX Wireless System
Each wired Satel fire alarm system can be expanded with wireless devices using the ABAX system, which controls the fire alarm and provides wireless two-way communication with data encryption. The system is based on ACU-100 controllers, each of which can work with 48 wireless alarm sensors and is configured using a keyboard with an LCD display or a computer. The ABAX alarm system includes various wireless devices: passive IR sensors, magnetic alarm sensors, network-powered device controllers, optical-acoustic alarms, etc.
Fire alarm control using a cell phone
When installing the optional GSM-4 module, the Integra control panel can transmit alarm messages to a mobile phone, and if the landline telephone line is damaged, this module can be used to support a backup information transmission channel. At the same time, the GSM-4 acts as a receiver of control SMS messages for the Integra control panel, and, if necessary, can operate as an external modem. For programming the GSM-4 via the interfaces of the DLOAD10 program installed on the network computer, the GSM module of the control device is equipped with an RS-232 port.
Monitoring station
With the STAM-1 monitoring station, the fire alarm system can be monitored via a regular telephone line, a GSM phone, and Ethernet networks. STAM-1 consists of software and a set of electronic boards compatible with a regular PC. Up to 16 different boards can be present in the system, and the station can operate without a computer, but with an autonomous power source. The monitoring program significantly simplifies the work of the fire alarm system operator, since it automatically selects events that require his intervention, provides a list of instructions for each specific situation, and reminds about uncompleted tasks. STAM-1 can serve more than 50,000 subscribers, print reports on the actions of fire alarm operators and system events, and automatically track unauthorized changes to system files.
Contactless control (radio remote controls and radio receivers)
For contactless control, the fire alarm system can be equipped with radio receivers and radio key fobs. These devices allow you to arm and disarm the control panel, as well as include an entry delay. Radio alarm control kits are available in two versions: RX and RE. They can have up to 4 independent radio channels and service up to 340 radio key fobs. Key fobs are also supplied in two versions: P-2/P-4 and T-2/T-4, where the numbers indicate the number of independent radio channels. Wide range of security sensors and alarms Among the variety of Satel fire alarm sensors, it is worth highlighting the GRAPHITE and AQUA motion sensors with a digital detection algorithm, INDIGO glass breakage sensors, SILVER and COBALT combined security alarm sensors, and DG-1 gas sensors. All combined motion sensors have a digital temperature compensation module and smooth adjustment of the microwave channel sensitivity, and the INDIGO sensor is equipped with a microprocessor for two-channel signal analysis. Depending on the model, the DG-1 series gas sensors can detect exceeding the threshold level of methane, propane-butane, carbon monoxide and chloroform concentrations.
If necessary, security alarm systems can be equipped with security alarms. SPW-220/210/100 alarms are intended for indoor installation, while other models can be used outdoors. Outdoor models SP-4003/4002/4001 are equipped with a piezoelectric transducer and have an internal galvanized tin casing. SPLZ-1011, SPL-2010/2030 and SPL-5020/5010 have a built-in sabotage alarm sensor, caused, for example, by the use of polyurethane foam.
Power supplies are the key to uninterrupted operation
The APS-30/APS-15/APS-524 pulse power supplies ensure uninterrupted operation of the fire alarm system in the event of a power failure in the electrical network. They are distinguished by a high effective current, reliability in operation and the ability to remotely monitor their condition. All Satel power supplies have protection against short circuits and overloads, the ability to connect a lead gel battery and a charging system with current regulation. Depending on the model, these devices are capable of providing the fire alarm system with an effective current of 1.5 to 5 A.
International and Russian fire safety certificates
The Satel scientific laboratory constantly conducts research into fire alarm systems for two groups of consumers: household and industrial. The control panels, alarm sensors and alarms manufactured by the company meet the strictest combination of standards for both groups. Thanks to this approach, the Satel fire alarm and various equipment are marked with the CE mark and certified in the EU, and also have Russian certificates of conformity, including fire safety certificates for compliance with Russian fire safety regulations.
