Model of an explosive device in an electric razor.
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Model composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
Operating principle.
When the electric razor is plugged into the electrical network, the electric detonator is triggered, causing the explosive charge to be initiated. The explosive device is placed in the parcel along with a set of crystal glasses, a men's shirt and women's shoes.
Model of an explosive device with a tension-type switch.
General view of the layout. | X-ray of the layout. | X-ray of the layout |
Layout composition
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Spring contact.
Operating principle.
When the box lid is opened, the cardboard gasket is pulled out, the spring contact plates touch each other, closing the electric circuit of the electric detonator. A sand-lime brick is used as an object that makes it difficult to recognize the explosive device.
Model of an explosive device in a thermos.
General view of the layout. | X-ray image of the layout. |
Layout composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Detonator with striker.
3. Detonator cap.
4. Folding lid.
Principle of operation.
The explosive device is placed in a parcel containing a thermos, books and magazines. In the cocked position, the detonator striker is held by a hinged lid, which is pressed tightly against the thermos cap. When the thermos cap is removed, the load is removed from the hinged lid, the striker is released and causes the detonator cap to operate.
Model of an explosive device with a «mousetrap» type switch.
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Composition of the model:
1. Elastic explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Electric wires.
5. Mousetrap type switch.
Operating principle.
The contactor is held in the cocked position by the bent corner of the insert. When the contents are removed from the envelope, the bent corner is folded back, releasing the locking bracket, which rotates under the action of the spring and closes the electric circuit of the electric detonator.
Model of an explosive device in a pocket flashlight
General view of the layout. X-ray of the model.
Model composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
Operating principle.
The explosive device was placed in a parcel containing a pack of chewing gum, a flashlight, a men's shirt, mascara, a manicure set, lipstick and a powder compact. When the flashlight is turned on, the electric circuit of the electric detonator closes, causing it to go off.
Model of an explosive device with a loop-type switch
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Model composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Loop switch.
Operating principle.
The explosive device is placed in a suitcase (case), which also contains records, coffee and a man's suit. One loop of the switch is attached to the lid of the suitcase, the second is held by the enclosed item. When the suitcase is opened, the loops of the switch come into contact with each other, closing the electric circuit of the electric detonator.
Model of an explosive device based on a relay
General view of the layout. X-ray image of the layout.
Layout composition:
1. Elastic explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Electrical wires.
5. Relay.
Principle of operation.
One current source is connected to the relay winding, and the other — through the open contacts of the relay to the electric detonator. As the current source connected to the relay winding discharges, the relay anchor moves away, the open contacts close, thereby including the second current source in the electric detonator circuit. Safety contacts are used for safe installation of the explosive device.
All parts of the explosive device are placed in a letter with overall dimensions of 200x140x10 mm.
Model of an explosive device with a loop closure.
General view of the layout. | X-ray image of the layout. |
Composition of the model:
1. Elastic explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Loop switch.
5. Electrical wires.
Principle of operation.
One loop of the switch is attached to the envelope, the second — to the insert. When the insert is removed from the envelope, the loops of the switch come into contact with each other, closing the electrical circuit. All parts of the explosive device are placed in a letter with overall dimensions of 180x100x7 mm.
Model of the explosive device with a discharge switch.
General view of the model. X-ray of the model.
Model composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Electrical wires.
5. Switch.
6. Toggle switch.
Operating principle.
When the magazine is opened, the load is removed from the contactor rod, under the action of the spring it moves upward, the stop element of the rod comes into contact with the bracket, closing the electric circuit of the electric detonator. The toggle switch is used for safe installation of the explosive device. All parts of the explosive device are placed in the folded magazine.
Model of the explosive device in the children's toy «Behind the Wheel».
General view of the layout. | X-ray image of the layout. |
Layout composition:
1. Explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
Principle of operation.
The explosive charge and the electric detonator are placed in an electric battery (element 373). When the toy «Behind the Wheel» is turned on, the electric detonator circuit is closed, causing it to go off.
A model of an explosive device based on a musical postcard.
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Composition of the model:
1. Elastic explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Electronic circuit.
Principle of operation.
The explosive device is placed in the letter. When the musical postcard is removed from the envelope and opened, the electronic circuit supplies voltage to the electric detonator, which triggers it. All parts of the explosive device are placed in a letter with overall dimensions of 180x100x8 mm.
Model of an explosive device with a clothespin switch.
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Model composition:
1. Elastic explosive charge.
2. Electric detonator.
3. Current source.
4. Clothespin.
Principle of operation.
A clothespin is used as a trigger. All the elements of the explosive device are placed in a book. The ends of the clothespin are separated by a cardboard lining, which is attached to the cover of the book. When the book is opened, the cardboard lining is pulled out, the ends of the clothespin touch each other, closing the electrical circuit of the electric detonator.
Model of an explosive device with a tension-type trigger.
General view of the model. | X-ray of the model. |
Model composition:
Plastic explosive charge.
Electric detonator.
Current source.
Movable contact.
Fixed contact.
Operating principle.
All elements of the explosive device are placed in the book. The movable contact is attached to the package with a thread. To prevent accidental closure, the movable contact is attached to the book with a rubber band. When the book is removed from the package, the movable contact closes with the fixed contact, closing the electric circuit of the electric detonator.
