The MIPS 2010 exhibition welcomes specialists from the security industry.
The XVI International Exhibition «Security, Safety and Fire Protection»/MIPS 2010 will be held from April 19 to 22 at the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya.
MIPS has been held since 1995 and is the leading security exhibition in Russia and the CIS countries.
Throughout For many years, this event has marked the beginning of the spring-summer business season for security market specialists.
The exhibition will be held in two pavilions (No. 1 and No. 8) and will unite four thematic sections: technical means of ensuring security; security television and surveillance; fire safety and emergency rescue equipment; smart cards, ID technologies, banking equipment and information security.
“The main feature of MIPS 2010 is the unique composition of participants.
All leading players in the industry will be present at the exhibition.
In total, there will be about 300 domestic and foreign companies, with 30% of exhibitors being presented for the first time,” says exhibition director Yulia Rodikova.

MIPS 2010 participants represent more than 20 countries.
This year, the exhibition will feature national groups from Germany, Great Britain, China and Taiwan.
“According to surveys of representatives of foreign companies, MIPS is the ideal platform for foreign firms entering the Russian market,” notes Ilya Sobolev, director of security and fire exhibitions at ITE Group PLC (London).
This year, MIPS is preparing a whole series of premieres: new developments will be presented at almost every stand. This is especially interesting, considering that the participants include developers with a worldwide reputation.
Already now, specialists can get acquainted with the products that will be presented at the exhibition, with the help of the electronic «Digest of New Products» of MIPS 2010 participants, which is published weekly in industry electronic media and on the exhibition website.
The International Exhibition and Conference «Intelligent Cards and Information Technology Security Systems»/Cardex & IT Security will be held for the second year as a specialized section of the MIPS exhibition in Hall No. 3 (Pavilion No. 8). Its participants will demonstrate the latest developments and advanced solutions in the field of ID technologies, information security, smart cards, and banking equipment.
Among the exhibitors are HITACHI-OMRON Terminal Solutions EU, SoftCase, Shtrikh-M, TerraLink, KartHall, Singular Technology Co, Ostpak, Castles Technology Co, FSUE NTC Atlas, and others.
Visitors to the exhibition will enjoy a rich business program.
The MIPS conference will focus on the safety of underground structures and issues of ensuring the safety of multifunctional, technically complex and potentially dangerous buildings and structures at the stage of their full operation.
Experts will discuss the latest developments of companies and changes in the regulatory framework applicable to technically complex, unique and potentially dangerous facilities. A separate event will be devoted to fire safety.
Among the issues that the experts will touch upon are the regulatory framework of the industry, changes in it, and the relationship between existing regulations and those coming into effect.
Presentations of specific technical solutions from companies will take a separate place in the program.
As part of the MIPS 2010 business program, it is planned to hold an open off-site meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Moscow Committee for Architecture. One of the traditional events of MIPS is the competition of technical solutions «Best Innovative Product», which has established itself as the main tool for promoting the latest achievements in the security industry.
For example, based on the results of the competition, the best products receive recommendations for inclusion in the Register of Technologies Recommended for Use at Moscow Facilities and in the Register of New Technologies of the Moscow Government.
Every year, more than 40 companies present their innovations at the competition.

Representatives of the most remote regions of our country, who for some reason will not be able to visit MIPS, will be able to take a virtual tour of the exhibition thanks to a joint campaign by ITE and DSSL.
