Microphoto camera Zodchiy.
Microphoto camera «Zodchiy» In the early 80s, the micro-miniature camera «Zodchiy» was created, which is rightfully considered one of the best Soviet special cameras of the second half of the 20th century. Designed for a standard «Minox» cassette, «Zodchiy» was a new design, intended primarily for photographing A4 documents on thin and ultra-thin film. Special equipment designers had already created similar miniature cameras with a negative size of 6 — 7.5 mm in diameter, which, however, required very careful and cautious handling, especially when loading the cassette. The task was set to make a micro camera of the same small size, but with an increased negative size, which would significantly improve the quality of photo printing, especially small fonts and texts with rare languages, especially in conditions of uneven illumination of the text. It was also very important to make a camera for a generally available cassette, for example, like the one in «Minox».
