JVC.

The formation of the JVC brand dates back to 1927. It was then that The Victor Talking Machine Company of Japan was founded. The first examples of equipment created by the company were phonographs and sound recording equipment. In 1939, JVC released the first Japanese television receiver.
After World War II, JVC continued to develop innovative video and audio equipment, both for the household market and for professional purposes. jvc 2In 1968, JVC went beyond the borders of the land of the rising sun – JVC America Inc. was created in the USA.
An important milestone in the history of the company's development was 1976. It was then that the VHS recording format was developed, which gained enormous popularity throughout the world, and in the following years, more advanced formats were created on its basis: S-VHS in 1987 and W-VHS in 1990.
Since the 80s of the last century, JVC has been actively involved in sponsoring European football competitions: the UEFA Cup and the European Championship. This served as an impetus for the company's development on the European continent. In 1998, a representative office of JVC Europe Ltd. was opened, which is located in London.
As for professional products (CCTV equipment, professional video, storage systems, video projectors and displays), in the European region they are handled by JVC Professional Europe Ltd., whose headquarters are also located in the UK. This division of JVC was formed not so long ago – in 2003. The post of the head of JVC Professional Europe Ltd. is occupied by Mr. Keisuke Yoshikawa.
Speaking about equipment for security systems, JVC offers a wide range of equipment, which includes both analog devices for creating classic video surveillance systems and the latest models of network video cameras and recorders. Analog cameras provide round-the-clock surveillance with a picture resolution of 540 TVL. At the end of last year, new models from the PTZ camera series were presented — TK-C686, and stationary models — TK-C925/926BE and TK-C1530E. New models also appeared in the line of network cameras. VN-V686 is a dome PTZ network camera with an innovative Direct Drive Motor rotation mechanism and VN-V25/26U is a stationary camera with the ability to simultaneously transmit images in two formats: JPEG and MPEG4. JVC brand products have several unique advantages. Firstly, reliability, which is a necessary indicator when it comes to security. Secondly, all devices are implemented on an open platform, which ensures their integration into any security systems, both analog and IT-based.
JVC brand security equipment has gained recognition all over the world. Over the past three years, more than 200,000 JVC analog cameras and more than 5,000 network devices (cameras, hybrid and network recorders) have been sold in the European region alone. A striking example of the success of JVC surveillance cameras is the choice of the world-famous DHL company, which equipped its terminals at the airports of Leipzig (Germany) and Tilburg (Netherlands). In total, more than 800 VN-C655 and VN-C20U network cameras were installed in the cargo terminals.
Also in 2007, when equipping a new business park in Sofia (Bulgaria) on an area of 180,000 m2, 160 JVC network cameras were installed. A surveillance system including more than 40 VN-C655U network cameras was installed at one of the factories in Serbia.
Considering that technologies are developing rapidly and conceptually new products appear on the market every 4-5 months, an important aspect for users is service support. Here, JVC offers a supply of spare parts for seven years for discontinued devices.
The Japanese company JVC with an 80-year history continues to develop the experience accumulated by professionals in their field, which is reflected in its slogan: «Perfect experience».
That is, «Perfect experience».
