Intelligent system for monitoring and diagnostics of high-voltage equipment of power plants.
Intelligent system for monitoring and diagnostics of high-voltage equipment of power industry The MVKS system is designed for continuous monitoring of the temperature of cable lines in real time, to ensure comprehensive security, prevent emergency situations and increase their throughput.
The MVKS is a distributed temperature sensor, the sensitive element of which is an optical fiber. The operating principle of the system is based on processing measurements of the spectral composition of the back Raman scattering of a laser pulse in a multimode optical fiber. The result of each measurement is a temperature profile, which is the temperature distribution along the entire length of the optical fiber. The optical fiber can be located both in the screen of the high-voltage cable and on its surface. The software allows you to perform the necessary calculations to analyze the current state of the power cable.
The monitoring system generates TeleMeasurements (TI) and TeleSignals (TS) for each zone of the cable line based on the temperature profile:
1. Maximum temperature TI in the zone.
2. Distance TI to the maximum temperature in the zone.
3. Temperature change rate TI.
4. TC in case of exceeding the specified temperature levels.
5. TC in case of cable damage and fiber breakage.
6. TC in case of no system power supply.
7. TC in case of unauthorized access to equipment.
Continuous temperature monitoring allows for dynamic load control based on the following data:
8. Calculation of the core temperature.
9. Calculation of the maximum permissible cable load based on the maximum permissible core temperature and the specified time.
10. Calculation of the maximum permissible duration of the cable load based on the maximum permissible core temperature and the current load values.
11. Display of cable line topology, combined with temperature profiles, provides the dispatcher with an operational situation in a visual form.
