System features: • The system has a self-test function for detectors and interfaces using a calibration signal. The performance of fire alarm systems largely depends on the correctness and frequency of routine maintenance, which, due to the specifics of some facilities, cannot always be carried out on time. For example, detectors may be difficult to reach, maintenance personnel cannot get access to certain areas, routine maintenance may be complicated by the operation of process lines. Manual testing with gas or smoke is not always reliable. Test gas or smoke is rarely used in calibrated doses, even a faulty detector may react if its chamber is filled with enough smoke.
The system uses a DYFI+ filter (dynamic filtering process), which allows to reduce the number of false alarms by at least 70%. The digital filtering technology of the DYFI signal has been significantly improved — and is now called DYFI+. False alarms are practically eliminated, and the system provides the earliest warning of a potential fire — before it develops.
Each detector of the AutroSafe system is «born» with a unique passport, making the process of upgrading the system inexpensive and reliable. At the factory, each detector is assigned a unique Production Number, which remains with the detector for the entire period of its operation. This production number contains the type of device, the manufacturer's code and the serial number.
«AutroSafe» is a fully distributed system, which allows subsequent connections to it and expansions by simply adding devices to the existing ring. Therefore, AUTROLON is especially suitable for such objects that are geographically widely distributed in space or where construction or renovation is planned in several stages. The network principle of the system, as well as the fact that modules and electronic bells can be connected directly to the loop, significantly reduce the amount of cable used. Compared to centralized systems, the AutroSafe network architecture can reduce the cost of cable products by up to 30% |
