But is it worth introducing new rules and tightening inspections if the corruption in this industry is so great that no one even tries to comply with fire safety requirements? Also, a year ago, the «Lame Horse» received an order for violations in the field of fire safety, which it was obliged to eliminate by the beginning of December. But, apparently, the fine of 1800 rubles did not scare the owners of the club, and the thatched partitions and roofs of the «Lame Horse» were left, not at all afraid of the possible consequences.
But in the world, «fire» safety is taken much more seriously. In Europe, there is a serious set of rules that does not allow public institutions to operate without an adequate level of fire safety. First of all, walls and ceilings, as well as the materials they are made of, are checked for their tendency to ignite. There are several characteristics by which the fire safety of partitions and walls is judged. These are, first of all, load-bearing capacity, integrity and insulation. Thermal radiation and smoke leakage are also taken into account. As in the entire civilized world, in Europe, every entertainment venue and company office is insured against fire. Here, customer safety is put first. And this applies not only to fires. But the main thing is not the laws themselves, but how they are implemented. In Europe, unlike Russia, there is no custom of bribing fire inspectors. There they understand that money plays no role in matters of life and death.
Japan is famous not only for its high level of fire safety, but also for its technological developments in this area. The most famous manufacturers of fire automatics are based in this country. The Japanese understand that a fire can happen even in the most protected place, but you need to be prepared for any situation. Japanese fire automatics allow you to quickly detect the location of a fire and respond to a dangerous situation as soon as possible.
But the most stringent fire safety system operates in the USA. Here, only a certain class of materials is allowed, which are allowed in construction. Partitions and membranes in ventilation and air duct systems are carefully checked by inspectors. Here, it is customary to study every little thing before allowing some office or restaurant to receive clients. In addition, Americans respond to fires with enviable speed. Almost all critical situations can be quickly overcome, and fires do not have such catastrophic consequences as it was in Perm. Perhaps this is why in the USA, a firefighter is considered one of the most respected professions.
The entire civilized world has long understood that you can't joke with fire. This terrible element is capable of causing devastating damage in places with large crowds of people. Only a thorough and legal fire inspection will help to avoid terrible casualties. Let's hope that the Russian government will soon take appropriate measures.
