Perimeter Intrusion Detection System F-5000
The fiber-optic perimeter intrusion detection system F-5000 was developed by Trans Security Systems & Technology (Israel) for protecting high and medium risk facilities. This is a system with the best cost-effectiveness ratio in the world for such systems. Its main characteristics include a virtually 100% detection rate, a very low false alarm rate, and a low level of false alarms caused by external causes.
F-5000 Systemcontains a fiber-optic mesh made of fibers with a reinforced protective sheath of various colors. This mesh is fixed to existing or newly constructed perimeter fences and barriers. It signals any attempts at intrusion. Even any clever attempts to penetrate or climb over the mesh do not remain undetected.
Alarm system F-5000react only to direct physical actions of intruders and will not operate under any conditions, such as adverse weather conditions, approaching animals, touching the mesh or leaning against it. The system is maintenance-free unless physically damaged. Repairing mesh damage requires two inexpensive mechanical splicing of the fibers, which can be done in a few minutes.
The F-5000 system is designed for use with all types of perimeter fencing: wire mesh, barbed wire, wall-shaped, welded wire mesh, etc. The fiber optic mesh can be buried in the ground, built into structures, or installed as an underwater barrier.
The Trans Security System & Technology company has been working in the field of development and production of electronic surveillance and detection systems for over 20 years. It has installed hundreds of kilometers of intrusion detection system (vibration fencing) fences in many countries around the world, including the Olympic Village security system for the Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada.
