Construction of video surveillance systems based on special software Complex/Video 2.0.
Building video surveillance systems based on special software Complex/Video 2.0 Today, there is a large number of different software for building video surveillance systems on the security market, and manufacturers try to add their own «zest» to each system, to surpass the competitor in certain parameters. In this regard, the buyer faces a difficult choice: reliable, easy to install and use, inexpensive software suitable for a particular task is needed.
Software Complex/Video 2.0 has been known on the security market relatively recently, but the first versions of Complex/Video were installed more than 7 years ago and are successfully functioning at facilities to this day.
New version of software Complex/Video 2.0— is a hardware and software complex for building video surveillance systems for objects of any scale – from small (up to 10 image sources), medium (up to 150) objects to large objects (more than 150) with a geographically distributed structure.
Close cooperation with equipment manufacturers, from processor manufacturers to video equipment manufacturers, has made it possible to create a highly optimized software code that provides outstanding performance indicators for Complex/Video 2.0.The video operator provides playback of more than 70 video streams at one operator workstation with a resolution of 704×576 (4CIF) or 720×576 (Full D1) at a frequency of 25 frames per second per channel, with support for multi-monitor configurations, which allows for a significant reduction in the cost of creating a central control room for surveillance.
In Complex/Video 2.0there are no restrictions on the number of connected image sources, the number of video surveillance operator locations, the number and volume of archive servers. In addition, there are means for organizing distributed systems that use operator channels and other public communication networks, including the Internet, to transmit video data. This ensures virtually unlimited growth of the video surveillance system, coordinated from a single control center.
Complex/Video 2.0provides a single information space, which provides an advantage in the completeness of the information provided and the ease of obtaining it. With the growth of the data volume, the increase in the number of users, the complexity of requests, the system is able to adapt to them. This allows, based on the same software solutions, to build both compact and inexpensive DVR systems and distributed systems. Efficient use of network bandwidth is achieved through the use of the group data transmission mode (IP multicast). This mode provides transmission in the «point-to-multipoint» mode, the transmitting side is the source of the digital video stream — a video server or IP camera, the receiving side is the workstations of the video surveillance system and the video archive server. Regardless of the number of consumers, each video stream is transmitted in a single copy, at the same time it is delivered only to those points that request its receipt, which is the difference from the broadcast mode. The only additional requirement for network equipment is support for the IGMP protocol, which is currently an industry standard.
One of the strengths of Complex/Video 2.0 is its support for working with Softtera™ IP camera video analytics. Video analytics functions are implemented directly on the IP device, which allows you to get the most reliable result when recognizing various types of objects, due to the fact that the processing of uncompressed video information is carried out directly in the IP device. Complex/Video 2.0allows you to accumulate and process large streams of video analytics metadata from IP devices, and also ensures ease of working with data, allowing you to quickly search for selected events, which significantly reduces the time it takes to find the desired event in the video archive. In this regard, Complex/Video 2.0 can be used as a full-fledged system that creates another line of defense — security video surveillance.
Complex/Video 2.0allows you to work with both the basic and the advanced video analytics package supplied with Softtera™ IP devices. The advanced video analytics package includes the following advanced features: 3D camera calibration for top and side views of an object with perspective distortion compensation, object classification into groups, identification of small objects and animals, adaptation to changes in environmental conditions, counting objects moving in a given direction, counting objects in a group, calculating the direction and speed of an object's movement, long-distance detection, automatic object tracking when using a PTZ camera, and many other functions.
