The Smartec STC-IP3570A network camera is designed for IP video surveillance at various illumination levels at sites with a high probability of vandalism.
It uses a Sony ExView HAD CCD matrix, has a sensitivity of up to 0.05 lux and generates a digital video stream in MPEG4 format with a resolution of up to 720×576 pixels. at a frequency of 25 fps.
This camera is equipped with a 3.8–9.5 mm varifocal lens and a shockproof housing with a fan and heater, which allow the STC-IP3570A to be used in temperatures ranging from -30 to +50С.
In addition, the camera supports two-way audio communication with the place of its installation, and its delivery set includes free Russian-language software for creating a fully functional IP surveillance system.
By its design, the STC-IP3570A is a vandal-proof dome camera with adjustable viewing direction.
The camera unit with a varifocal lens is installed in a compact aluminum housing with an IP66 water and dust protection rating, withstanding a load of more than 700 kgf and covered with a transparent dome.
The IP camera's viewing direction is manually selected relative to two axes (rotation: 0–300, tilt: 0–90) and fixed with screws. Depending on the video surveillance tasks, the camera can be mounted on the ceiling or walls using an optional bracket.
Informative video surveillance both day and night
Thanks to the high-quality ExView HAD CCD matrix from Sony and the video signal processing processor, the STC-IP3570A transmits high-contrast video with a resolution of 540 TVL at any illumination level.
If the illumination at the site drops to 4 lux, the camera automatically switches from color to black and white mode, and its sensitivity increases to 0.05 lux by adding up the brightness components of the video signal in the R, G, B channels. Thanks to the IR sensitivity of 700-1100 nm, the STC-IP3570A produces a high-quality monochrome image even at illumination below 0.05 lux.
Real-time video transmission over an IP network with configurable traffic
For simultaneous connection to LAN and WAN networks, the STC-IP3570A has two Ethernet 10/100Base-T network ports, one of which supports the PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) protocol. Support for this protocol ensures minimal video delay and high transmission speed.
In addition, these cameras can be connected to the network via a cable modem or ADSL line.
Like all Smartec IP cameras, this outdoor camera is equipped with an exclusive Arm9 compression processor, which is used for digital processing of the video signal and its compression in MPEG4 ASP format.
Optimized compression algorithm allows you to get detailed video even with high compression ratios!
Due to the support of the QoS (Quality of Service) network mechanism, the STC-IP3570A is able to reserve part of the channel for the outgoing video stream and transmit high-quality video in real time. At the same time, the transmission of a video stream with a resolution of 720×576 pixels and a frequency of 25 fps can be carried out over networks with a bandwidth of 28 Kbps to 3 Mbps. Depending on the selected priority (quality, speed or traffic), the IP camera automatically configures the video stream parameters taking into account the network bandwidth.
Free Russified software included
If the surveillance system includes up to 32 Smartec IP devices and it is necessary to organize centralized video surveillance from one PC, it is much more efficient to install the free Russified NVR 2.0 software on the operator's computer. This software allows you to organize a fully functional IP video surveillance system and supports simultaneous viewing of «live» video from 32 Smartec IP video servers or cameras with synchronous audio, as well as recording and playback of video in MPEG4 format. In the NVR, you can set various recording modes: by schedule, continuous, by alarm, by camera motion detector, as well as recording pre-alarm frames for the last 30 s.
Built-in motion detector and alarm input
For use in security video surveillance systems, the STC-IP3570A is equipped with a hardware motion detector with adjustable sensitivity and three detection areas. In addition, the camera is equipped with a TTL input and output, to which a security sensor and an external actuator can be connected, respectively. When an alarm signal is received from a security sensor or a motion detector, the camera can turn on the actuator or send a video sequence of pre- and post-alarm frames to the alarm FTP server.
Video protection from falsification with watermarks
For this purpose, the STC-IP3570A implements the Digital Time Code algorithm, which exports information about the recording time to the MPEG4 video stream. Thanks to the time stamps, you can verify the authenticity of the recorded video, as well as copies. At the same time, the digital time code will be useful not only for protecting video recordings, but also for analyzing alarming video and searching for recordings by time or time interval.
