BACnet Practical Seminar – New Possibilities for Building Automation.

From May 15 to 17, 2007, the 3rd international specialized exhibition of equipment and technologies for industrial automation and embedded systems «PTA Saint Petersburg 2007» will be held in Saint Petersburg.
The BIG-RU Building Automation Association is holding a seminar titled «BACnet – New Possibilities for Building Automation» as part of the «PTA Saint Petersburg 2007» exhibition. World-leading companies in the field of building automation will share their experience in integrating building engineering systems based on the open BACnet protocol. This seminar will be the first event on the BACnet protocol held in Saint Petersburg.
BACnet stands for Building Automation Control network and is a communication protocol for building automation developed by the ASHRAE association (ANSI/ASHRAE standard 135-2001), and recently received the status of ISO 16484-5 standard.
The main goal of the BACnet protocol is to standardize the interaction between devices of building automation systems from different manufacturers, allowing for the exchange of information and joint operation of equipment.
