Automation of high-rise buildings.
The topic of the October issue is high-rise buildings.
We deliberately chose it, realizing that today this is a TOP-direction and the materials will be of interest to a wide range of specialists.
But today only the lazy have not written articles and spoken at conferences on the topic of high-rise construction.
However, in this situation I am not satisfied with the fact that almost no one has paid due attention to the automation of high-rise buildings.
And we decided to figure out: what features of automation and dispatching systems take place in the construction of high-rise buildings, and to consider high-rise construction through the prism of automation.
But in the process of preparing material on foreign experience, we encountered, for example, the fact that a number of European experts were sincerely surprised: «Why do you pay so much attention to high-rise buildings?»
In their experience, there is no difference between ordinary buildings and high-rise buildings.
However, this is quite understandable — there are not many high-rise buildings in Europe, and European standards for the construction of buildings and engineering equipment have the necessary «safety margin» that allows these standards to be extended to high-rise construction…
In this issue we also published notes on high-rise buildings in the USA, Europe and Asia. Although there are not many foreign buildings, they are all famous and the materials about them were prepared by building automation specialists.
Russian experience in high-rise construction is in no way inferior to foreign experience.
This is confirmed by interviews with representatives of leading Russian companies: MIRAX GROUP, Don-Stroy, KONTI, KROST.
They shared their experience, observations and their points of view, in particular, on the problems of today's high-rise construction and, in general, on the development of the construction market in Moscow and the Russian regions.
And the experts have covered in more detail the issues of approach to building automation systems implemented by companies.
The pace of development of high-rise construction in Moscow is dictated primarily by the difficulty of obtaining sites for buildings, and an increase in the number of storeys leads to an increase in the area for sale, but at the same time the costs of operating the building increase.
It can be noted that the construction of high-rise buildings is observed mostly in the residential real estate sector, since here the cost of operating the building falls on the shoulders of the residents, and not the investor.
And automation and dispatching technologies just help to reduce operating costs.
We understand that the topic of high-rise building automation is global, and it is simply impossible to touch on all its problems in one issue of the bulletin.
However, we would like to hope that the information presented will seem interesting to readers and will be useful in the work of specialists.
We are waiting for comments and, of course, wishes for the topics of the next issues bulletin «Building automation».
