An anti-ram road device is a fairly complex device, with a rigid and deep foundation, allowing it to contain the impact force of a car.

Anti-ram installations
Anti-ram road barrier installations of the PDZU type.
This type of device does not allow motor vehicles to enter the territory of the facility for the purpose of a terrorist act.
When such vehicles as MAZ, KAMAZ, Ural, etc. collide, the lifting «power shearing knife» gets between the vehicle frame and the front axle wheels.
Due to the high strength characteristics of the «cutting knife» and the entire installation as a whole, the front axle of the vehicle is torn off while moving, regardless of the speed and weight of the vehicle.
This design is not manufactured by any enterprise in Russia.
Anti-ram installation PDZU are produced in 2 types.
First type.
The installation looks like a «sleeping policeman».
Height 98 mm.
Second type.
The installation is located behind the «0» with the road surface.
Automatic anti-ram barriers type PTSHA — L.
Several cables are laid in the boom (beam). They create the appearance of strength characteristics.
The barrier is capable of holding a vehicle weighing 20 tons at a speed of 53 km/h. The metal structure of the foundation block of the receiving and main stand goes to a depth of about 2 meters, filled with concrete, which creates additional strength.
This type of anti-ram installations is in great demand in Russia and the CIS countries. The boom length is made from 4 m to 6 meters.
The customer chooses the length that fits into a particular object (or road).
Automatic anti-ram barriers (they are also called anti-ram barriers, with a horizontal beam rotation type PTShA — L — G).
They are designed so that the barrier boom rises and falls horizontally, from a height of 800 mm to the «sleeping policeman» position. The barrier is capable of holding a vehicle weighing 20 tons at a speed of 60 km/h. The boom length in this case reaches up to 9 meters. This anti-ram barrier firmly occupies a place among the ordered anti-ram installations.
Automatic sliding gates type VPO — L.
This type of anti-ram devices ensures that terrorist groups cannot penetrate the territory of the facility.
High strength characteristics of the gate leaf allow to stop vehicles weighing 20 tons at a speed of 53 km/h.
By special order, we can manufacture gates that will stop vehicles weighing 25 tons and at a speed of 60 km/h. We make anti-ram gates up to 7 meters long and up to 3 meters high (basic version).
After an “attack” by a vehicle, the anti-ram installations will fail, they will have to be repaired, but none of the mined vehicles will get to the facility.
Barrier installations.
This type of device only blocks, but does not prohibit, the path of vehicles to the facility.
Road blockers type DB – L.
Designed to prevent unauthorized passage of vehicles to the protected area of the facility, made for “0” with the road surface.
In case of an attempt to pass, the blocker is able to stop a Gazelle car and similar vehicles moving at a speed of up to 45 km/h with a curb weight of up to 6 tons.
Our road blocker DB is presented as an analogue of «POKATA3000» (St. Petersburg), but this is not so.
In terms of technical characteristics, it is much superior to «POKATA3000».
Sliding gates type VOA — L.
This type of construction is capable of protecting a large area, while taking up a minimum of space. We make sliding gates up to 7 meters long and up to 3 meters high (basic version).
Automatic all-metal barrier SHA — L.
The main area of application of barriers can be called those objects that do not require large protection of the territory, but nevertheless require restriction of entry of cars.
Automatic barriers are mainly used in enterprises that have their own fleet of official cars or allow entry to the territory of employees, partners and clients in their cars. The boom length is from 3 to 6 meters.
Automatic lightweight barrier SHAL — L.
The automatic barrier used to be only mechanical, but over time it has undergone significant changes, acquiring automatic and remote control.
The barrier is easy to use, works reliably in any weather conditions.
The barrier can be controlled both by remote control and by a control panel located indoors, for example, by the security guard.
The length of the barrier is from 2 meters to 4 meters.
You can add about the automation and equipment of such devices. First of all, these are traffic lights and flashing beacons, which are extremely necessary in places with heavy traffic and limited visibility (fog), these are mini barriers.
It is possible to control anti-ram and barrier devices at some distance, using key fobs.
Control systems for anti-ram installations and barriers are interesting, using motion sensors, which allows you to install anti-ram installations and barriers in places where constant duty of operators (watchmen) is impossible or impractical.
