5 Mpx AV5110 camera from Arecont Vision with HDTV video quality.
The Compact series of Arecont Vision cameras has been expanded with the 5-megapixel AV5110 model, available in two modifications: color and day-night.
Both models use a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and original Arecont MegaVideo® video signal processing technology to generate video with a high degree of detail.
These cameras can be used to provide video surveillance with HDTV quality and transmit streams over the network in M-JPEG format with a resolution of up to 2592 x 1944 pixels at a frame rate of 9 fps and a transfer rate of up to 55 Mbps.
AV5110 is equipped with a motion detector, supports ROI, electronic PTZ and PoE technology, and can be controlled by AV100 software and other developers.
The cameras are especially effective for video surveillance for the purpose of recognizing people's faces and car numbers, as well as for monitoring fast-moving technological processes (banks, store cash desks, etc.).
They transmit high-resolution video thanks to the use of a 5-megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor and a powerful video signal processor that performs up to 6 billion operations per second and provides a bit rate of up to 55 Mbps.
At the same time, the AV5110DN day-night models with a switchable IR filter allow surveillance in rooms with variable illumination and in outdoor conditions when installed in a thermal housing.
High video resolution and options for its configuration
Both models allow you to select a resolution of up to 5 Mpx (2592 x 1944 pixels) and can transmit real-time digital video with a high frame rate.
They support only the M-JPEG video codec with 21 compression levels and provide the operator with the ability to configure the optimal resolution and frame rate.
In particular, you can set full or 1/4 resolution for both viewing «live» video and working with the archive of the video surveillance system.
AV5110 supports resolution/speed options such as ADTV-1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 22 fps, 1.3 MPx (1280 x 1024 pixels) at 30 fps, etc.
ROI Function for Enhanced Video Monitoring Efficiency
AV5110 allows the video monitoring system operator to view every part of the frame in detail, as it supports electronic PTZ functions – zoom, pan and tilt of the image, as well as the ROI (Region-of-Interest) function.
This function allows simultaneous viewing on the monitor of the entire field of view of the camera and up to 3 selected areas in the frame with maximum quality.
In this case, the video image can be displayed on the monitor screen both in full and in lower resolution, and the viewing areas themselves can be moved.
Increased video quality in various lighting conditions
All megapixel models of the Compact series are capable of transmitting clear and crisp video with changing illumination at the site and have a full set of image quality adjustment functions.
Thus, the AV5110 generates video at illumination up to 0.3 lux and a dynamic range of up to 70.1 dB with a maximum signal-to-noise ratio of 44.1 dB.
This allows for video surveillance in low light conditions, if you use the MoonLight Mode noise reduction algorithms, as well as video recording over large areas with highly accurate display of objects, including those located at a great distance from the AV5110.
Adjustable motion detector and alarm response
The small-sized AV5110 cameras are designed to operate both in process television systems and in IP security video surveillance systems.
They are equipped with a customizable 64-zone motion detector and have an alarm input for external security sensors and a digital output for controlling the operation of the alarm device.
In the event of alarm signals from a sensor or detector, the camera will respond to them according to preset settings that differ from the standard ones, and can also activate the function of notifying the system operator about the alarm event.
Remote control of the camera using the proprietary AV100 software
Regardless of the model, all cameras in the Compact series provide remote access to their settings and live and/or archived images via a web browser or AV100 software with a Russified interface.
With the AV100, you can administer a system of 16 Arecont cameras and carry out effective video surveillance by viewing current/archived video, changing access priorities and exporting video archive data to another computer, etc.
Small size of the AV5110 and easy installation
These cameras have a body that is half the size and are 25% cheaper than earlier Arecont Vision models with identical image quality and functionality. AV5110 are equipped with a C/CS adapter ring and also allow the user to select the appropriate lens taking into account the distance to the object, specific shooting conditions, scene illumination and a number of other parameters.
Using 5 Mpx optics from manufacturers such as Computar, Fujinon, Spacecom and others will provide video surveillance with the parameters declared by the manufacturer.
